The People Person Gives Every Rulebreaker A Headline
The People Person is the ONLY weekly fashion newsletter that spotlights the industry’s most elusive and totally underrated players. A mix of profiles and heartfelt interviews.
There’s no “breaking into fashion” here. There are plenty of wildcards who don’t make headlines, but The People Person recognizes the unconventional and spontaneous individual.
I’m your People Person, Andres Fabris. I’m a freelance writer with a bucket load of questions and unshakeable opinions.
Why The People Person?
Sometimes, as a writer, you feel sealed into one specialty forever. However, my specialty is connecting people with people. I’ve always been an inquisitive individual: celebrating each others’ quirks and accomplishments and, despite a seemingly large gap, learning how to connect.
Despite my non-successful journey to professional fashion journalism, I constantly find creatives with their own alternative, important footing in fashion. Creatives that made it their own way, so I dedicate this publication to those brave individuals.
As a person who always looked in from the outside, this publication all about knowing people up-close and personal. Sharing a bit of my world, friends and, most importantly, the struggle with you.
Who Reads The People Person?
It’s for the chronically-online individual who only knows luxury brand names, but doesn’t understand the underlying disappointment behind Sean McGirr replacing Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. (He’s a great guy, but Kering you’ve been warned!)
It’s for someone obsessed with those viral big red boots, but doesn’t understand that MSCF has a kink for the “wow factor” on social media, same as Jonathan Anderson’s Minecraft moment at Loewe.
It’s for someone who appreciates Hailey Bieber as a Gen-Z or “clean girl aesthetic” style icon, but doesn’t understand that her stylist Dani Michelle needs her flowers for pulling *that* Ermanno Scervino mini dress.
If you knew only one of the “but doesn’t understand” explanations, The People Person will catch you on the rest and introduce you to people with a fresh perspective on these topics.

Writing is an incredibly unstable industry now that print editorials are dying and digital journalism is lucrative and oversaturated. But it’s never too late to join the party with your own bag of tricks. Who knows? Maybe some of you will understand The People Person better than myself.
Whether you have a paid subscription or a free one, I’m thrilled you’re here.

That’s it for me. I retweet the current Real Housewives and “stan” drama here. I occasionally post my life (with TMI story updates) here. If you really love me, please read my other works here!
